Known for its vibrant atmosphere and mouthwatering offerings, Black Tap effortlessly combines the casual vibe of a burger joint with the elegance of Vegas dining.
As I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by an eclectic decor that strikes the perfect balance between playful and sophisticated. The soft, inviting lighting creates a warm ambiance, ideal for a relaxed dining experience. While the buzz of conversation adds to the lively setting, it is clear that visitors are drawn here for more than just the atmosphere.
The menu boasts a variety of gourmet burgers, each crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I couldn’t resist trying the highly praised Black Truffle Burger, a savory delight that exceeded my expectations with its rich flavors. One cannot forget to mention their legendary milkshakes—over-the-top creations that are almost a meal in themselves. “Phenomenal” and “worth trying at least once” were common praises, highlighting their playful nature and gigantic size.
The restaurant does get busy, especially with its prime outdoor seating overlooking the Venetian canal. Black Tap at the Venetian was a lovely experience. The outdoor seating overlooks the Venetian canal, and with the occasional singing from the gondoliers, it gives you a little taste of Venice—super relaxing. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations and gets quite busy. We waited nearly an hour for an outdoor table, though the wait would likely be shorter if you’re okay with sitting inside. Our server was fantastic—funny, friendly, and gave great recommendations. The burger and chicken tender we ordered were absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in the area and have some time to spare.
We enjoyed our visit here very much! Besides the floor, bench, and table being a bit sticky though. Food was pretty. Fun place. Fried pickles weren't as great. Desserts were a lot of fun for the kids for sure! Wish they had a location nearby home.
I always head to Black Tap for good, really good burgers. Tried the Black Truffle burger !!! This was very savory and Alesi made our day. Great view off the deck of the gondola boats and the Strip.
This amazing place is inside the Venetian. A very nice place with a very pleasant atmosphere. The decor is somewhat crazy but very original, with soft lighting that invites tranquility. It's a bit noisy, but considering how busy this place usually is, it's not a surprise. We went for the special milkshakes because we wanted to try them. I have to say they're phenomenal and worth trying at least once. You won't need to order anything else, as just one will fill you up very quickly due to their size. Very tasty. Highly recommended.
This place was insanely delicious. I'm not really a burger person but their burgers were so fresh and tender! The portion sizes are generous and you get your moneys worth! The milkshakes are also a staple! Definitely coming back!
Black Tap The milkshakes...I will get back to that. The entry is from inside the Venetian casino, just near the overpass walkway. A cool vibe inside. The food does take long for a burger place. Waited almost an hour, which is just too long for a burger. The burgers were solid. The truffle burger definitely worth a try. Very well done. The California grilled chicken was a thumbs up, and it’s not always easy to get a grilled chicken burger right. The pickles are perfect. The burgers are very well done. They can compete with burgers anywhere in the world. The milkshakes are next level. These are world class milkshakes. Insane! Pick any one, milkshakes are a must at this place. These manager was fantastic and deal with the long wait in a very professional way.
I recently had another fantastic meal at Black Tap at the Venetian. This time, I decided to try the famous Wagyu Cheeseburger, and it was absolutely amazing! The meat was incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the toppings were perfectly balanced. To accompany my burger, I indulged in a Peanut Butter Shake, which was every bit as delicious as I expected. I also wanted to share a picture of a Loaded Shake from my first visit to Black Tap about 2 years ago, which was equally incredible. The service was excellent as well. My waitress, I believe her name was Angela, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Black Tap to anyone looking for a delicious and unique dining experience in Las Vegas.
Black Tap is one of the top burger spots in town. If you find yourself in Vegas, you’ve got to swing by. What We Tried: • The All-American Burger: A simple but tasty cheeseburger. If you’re in the mood for a high quality take on the standard American cheeseburger - this one hits the spot. • The Texan Burger: Perfect for BBQ lovers. Checked all the boxes with bacon, cheese, a huge crispy onion ring, and spot-on BBQ sauce. It hits all the right notes. • The Wagyu Steakhouse Burger: If you’re only going to try one burger, this is the one you gotta try. Incredible flavors that all accented each other so well - pepper jack, bacon, crispy onion strings, A1, and roasted garlic mayo for an awesome taste combo. It’s a standout burger. Full disclosure: the burgers are thick and juicy. Some people don’t like that and even the friends we were with prefer their burgers more well done and thinner. To each their own I guess. We like our burgers the same as Sir Mix-A-Lot - real thick and juicy : ) Don’t Miss the Sides: • Queso Bravo Fries: These were such a delicious surprise - not your average cheese fries. Layers of flavors created such a unique and fantastic dish - queso sauce, Parmesan, bacon, scallion, and sour cream & onion. They’re fantastic. Honestly, you could come just for these. • Milkshakes: The Strawberry Shortcake shake we had on our last visit was tasty but got a bit too sweet after a few bites. This time around, we tried the Cookies ‘N Cream Supreme. If you’re into cookies & cream, you’ll love it. The Oreo ice cream cookie that comes with it really dials it up a notch. Full disclosure again: the milkshakes are loaded and enormous so plan ahead and save some appetite or prepare to share if you want to try a milkshake. Final Say: Giving Black Tap a solid 5/5! Great burgers, killer cheese fries, and tasty shakes. If you’re craving a good burger in Vegas, this is your place.
